Nancy Martinez is an Associate in our Family Law Practice Group, representing clients in all aspects of divorce, custody, and support proceedings.
Ms. Martinez earned her Juris Doctor from Southwestern Law School, graduating in the Top 20 percentile of her class. While enrolled at Southwestern she earned a CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Legal Analysis, Writing and Skills, and participated in Southwestern Law’s Moot Court Intramural Competition and won the First Place Brief Writer Award.
She served as Law Clerk at nonprofit organizations LevittQuinn Family Law Center and the Harriett Buhai Center for Family Law, as well as at a private firm in Los Angeles County. Ms. Martinez also worked at the Los Angeles Dependency Lawyers and the Children’s Rights Clinic at Southwestern.
Ms. Martinez earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology Based Human Relations and Hispanic Studies (double major) and minored in Human Development. While studying at Connecticut College she earned Dean’s Honors and the Ruby Jo Reeves Kennedy Memorial Sociology Award. The Harriet Buhai Center for Family Law recognized Ms. Martinez with a Volunteer of the Year Award for her work with the center in 2021.
