Jessica W. Rosen

Jessica W. Rosen is a Shareholder at our firm. Her experience encompasses all aspects of civil litigation from pre-filing investigation to case initiation, discovery, pleadings, demurrers, dispositive motions, trials, settlements, briefing appeals and oral argument in federal and state appellate courts. Ms. Rosen has also prepared petitions for certiorari in the United States Supreme Court.

Ms. Rosen is accomplished in alternative dispute resolution, including settlement negotiation, mediation and arbitration; and she has represented clients in bringing and defending wide-ranging unfair competition, contract and other business disputes, intellectual property matters, franchise disclosure and relationship claims, franchise vicarious liability claims, employment disputes, and claims under federal and California laws.

Ms. Rosen earned her Juris Doctor from Golden Gate University School of Law where she graduated with Highest Honors in 2013. She ranked in the top four percent of her class, and served as Executive Research Editor and Staff Writer for the Golden Gate University Law Review. Her academic honors include membership in the Jesse Carter Society, Honors Lawyering Program and Dean’s List; and she was awarded Bernard E. Witkin Award for Excellence in Appellate Advocacy and Best Brief in Moot Court competitions.

Ms. Rosen earned a Master of Arts in History Degree at California State University Northridge, where her honors credentials include membership in Phi Alpha Theta, a Graduate Equity Fellowship and an Alumni Association Scholarship. Ms. Rosen’s undergraduate work includes a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History from the University of California San Diego. At UCSD she earned a Betty Tate International Scholarship, an ERC Study Abroad Scholarship, and Provost Honors.

Ms. Rosen has appeared before California courts throughout the state, United States District Courts for the Central and Eastern Districts of California, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. She is a member of the State Bar of California, the Federal Bar Association, the Women’s Lawyer’s Association of Los Angeles, Los Angeles County Bar Association and San Fernando Valley Bar Association.

Selected by Best Lawyers in America to the Ones to Watch list in Labor Employment Law in 2023 and 2024, Ms. Rosen is also designated a Southern California Rising Star by Super Lawyers Magazine, each year since 2020. The San Fernando Valley Business Journal named her a Woman of Influence in 2022.
