Heidy A. Nurinda is an Associate in our Business Litigation, Intellectual Property, and Franchise & Distribution Practice Groups. She represents clients in all phases of litigation; copyright and trademark enforcement; franchise, distribution or licensing; and unfair competition matters.
Ms. Nurinda earned her Juris Doctor at Southwestern Law School, graduating in the Top 20 percentile of her class. She received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award, the Witkin Award for Academic Excellence in Alternative Dispute Resolution, and won the First Place Advocate Award in Southwestern’s Intramural Negotiation Competition. She also became a member of the Negotiation Honors Program, competing against law schools nationwide.
Ms. Nurinda graduated in 2015 from the University of California, Irvine with dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Journalism and Political Science.
Prior to joining Lewitt Hackman, Ms. Nurinda worked for firms in Los Angeles and Orange counties, representing clients in complex business, real estate, commercial and employment litigation. She served as law clerk for a special education non-profit organization and for a trust and probate firm.
Ms. Nurinda is a member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association, Women Lawyers Association of Los Angeles, and Latina Lawyers Bar Association. She is admitted to practice in all California courts and the United States District Court for the Central District of California.
